John Antel, Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost, announced the selection of Patricia Belton Oliver as dean of the Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture. The appointment is effective January 20, 2010.
Patricia Oliver brings exceptional educational experience, vision, leadership and administrative skills. She served from 2001-2008 as senior vice president of educational planning and architecture at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. She is currently chair of the 2009 American Institute of Architects (AIA) National Convention in San Francisco and chair of the 2009 AIA National Education Committee.
